The Mi Casa Market team is looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Front-End Cashier. The Front-End Cashier is responsible for providing efficient, friendly, and accurate service at the cash registers. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a smooth checkout experience, managing cash and electronic transactions, and delivering excellent customer service. You will be the face of the store, contributing to a positive shopping experience and ensuring customer satisfaction.
As a Front-End Cashier, your job is to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for each customer as they complete their shopping. You will maintain accuracy in transactions, provide support to customers with any inquiries, and collaborate with your team to ensure efficient store operations.
This position is full-time and critical to the smooth functioning of the store, ensuring that all transactions and customer interactions are handled with care and precision.
Responsibilities (Tasks Associated With The Role)

Process Transactions: Efficiently and accurately process all customer transactions, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.

Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service, addressing customer questions or concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Maintain Cash Drawer Accuracy: Ensure that cash drawers are balanced at the beginning and end of each shift, minimizing discrepancies.

Product Knowledge: Assist customers in locating products and providing information about promotions, sales, and store policies.

Organize Checkout Area: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies, such as bags and receipt paper.

Collaborate with Team: Work with other cashiers and team members to ensure efficient front-end operations and support store needs.

Handle Customer Complaints: Resolve customer issues or escalate to the manager when necessary, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.

Promote Store Loyalty Programs: Inform customers about loyalty programs and promotions to enhance their shopping experience and drive store engagement.

Adhere to Policies: Follow all store policies, including those related to cash handling, customer service, and product returns.
Requirements (Expected Abilities)

Previous Experience: Previous experience in cashiering or retail is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Customer-Centric: You are committed to providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for every shopper.

Attention to Detail: You must be detail-oriented, especially when handling cash, ensuring transactions are accurate and all discounts/promotions are applied correctly.
