Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

• Craft Bakery Products: Prepare and bake a variety of items, including bread, cakes, pastries, and cookies, following Mi Casa Market recipes and standards.

• Quality Control: Ensure every product meets the highest standards of taste, appearance, and freshness.

• Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient usage and implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) rotation system to reduce waste and spoilage.

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on bakery equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.

Cleanliness and Compliance

• Maintain Sanitation Standards: Keep the bakery area clean, organized, and in compliance with local and state health regulations.

• Safety Practices: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of equipment and handling of ingredients.

Customer and Team Focus

• Customer Interaction: Assist customers by answering questions and providing exceptional service when needed.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations and train new hires on processes, recipes, and safety protocols.

Continuous Improvement

• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline production processes and reduce cycle times.

• Product Development: Suggest new ideas for recipes and products based on customer preferences and seasonal trends.

What We’re Looking For

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in bakery operations, with a minimum of 3 years preferred.

• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, equipment, and safety standards.

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
